Al-Jouf Agricultural launches SAR 87M expansion of French fries factory

Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co.’s board of directors approved, on Aug. 4, the expansion project of the French fries factory at an estimated cost of SAR 87 million.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the expansion will increase production capacity by 50%.

The project will be financed through the company's resources, bank facilities and other funding sources.

 

Work on the project is expected to start during Q3 2024 and completed by Q3 2026.

 

The trial run, which will last a month, is set to start in Q3 2026, the statement added.

 

The project’s financial impact is expected to be reflected in the company's results during the last quarter of 2026. Commercial production is scheduled to begin in Q4 2026.

 

Suppliers will be contracted to supply the equipment required for the project, Al-Jouf Agricultural said.

 

There are no related parties associated with the contract.
