Saudi Ground Services awarded SAR 1.5B service contract by Riyadh Air

Saudi Ground Services Co. was awarded a contract by the Aviation Services Co. (Riyadh Air) to provide ground handling services, effective as of Sept. 1, 2024, which will last for 4.5 years (55 months), with an option to extend for an additional two years after the initial term.

Under this contract, Saudi Ground Services will provide ground handling services for all Riyadh Air flights. This includes ramp services and passenger terminal services for both domestic and international flights at King Khalid International Airport – Riyadh, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The company added that the contract value is about SAR 1.5 billion for the entire period (6.5 years) starting from the operations for Riyadh Air

There are no related parties to the contract, said the company, adding that the contract is in the ordinary course of business and has no preferential treatment.
