Sadirat board approves CEO request not to renew contract

Saudi Industrial Export Co. (Sadirat) said its board of directors approved, during a meeting held on Aug. 19, CEO Soliman H. Al-Jedaie's request to not renew his contract.

 

His current term ends Aug. 31, 2024, the company said in a statement to Tadawul adding that any material developments will be announced in due course.

In a separate statement, the company announced that Al-Jedaie (executive member) resigned from the board, effective Sept. 1, 2024, citing work commitments.

 

Meanwhile, in another statement Sadirat said the board appointed Ghassan Al-Haidari (independent member) as Managing Director of the company and amended the membership status to executive member effective Sept. 1, 2024.

 

Al-Haidari holds a Master's degree in financial management from the University of Colorado and has more than 15 years of practical experience. He has been a member of the board since June 16, 2022, and was a member of the Audit Committee from July 20, 2022, and until Aug. 31, 2024.
