Nazaha receives 18,900 reports in 2023, 58% for bribery

The Oversight and Anti-Corruption Authority (Nazaha) received 18,900 reports that fall under its jurisdiction in 2023, representing 40% of the total reports received at 47,200 (within and out of its jurisdiction).

 

Bribery-related reports covered 58% of total in-jurisdiction reports in 2023, Nazaha said in its statistical report for 2023.

 

In addition, 21% of the reports were related to abuse of job power, while 7% were related to illicit enrichment.

Riyadh topped the number of total reports received by the authority with nearly 14,500 reports, or 31% of the total reports, followed by Makkah with about 10,100 reports (21%).
