Scientific & Medical Equipment House Co. (Equipment House) signed, on Aug. 21, an exclusive distribution agreement in Saudi Arabia with China's leading sports tech company GenGee.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said GenGee specializes in sports performance analysis, utilizing advanced data collection and analysis tech to create tracking systems for team sports. It deploys sensors and custom software to tailor a comprehensive stat tracker that helps grasp players' strengths and weaknesses and shore up their overall performance.

The agreement is aimed at developing and diversifying Equipment House’s business activities while further expanding into various investment fields to meet its strategic goals in catering to the Saudi market’s needs, the statement added.
Equipment House’s CEO Barakat Al-Arifi stated that this exclusive agreement represents a qualitative leap in the company’s activities. GenGee's technology is set to revolutionize the analysis and enhancement of football performance by relying on the collection of precise data and innovative algorithmic interpretation.
In terms of financial impact, it is expected to begin showing in the first quarter of 2025, he indicated.
