AgriServ launches sustainability strategy

The National Company for Agricultural Services (AgriServ) launched its strategy to boost economic sustainability and social development in the Kingdom by adopting top agricultural practices and modern technologies to drive sector growth. 

The strategy focuses on four main pillars and 17 strategic goals, to be implemented through 18 initiatives, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The company aims to deliver high-quality, efficient agricultural services, enhance customer satisfaction with a seamless digital experience, and optimize asset utilization by addressing customer needs and improvement opportunities.

AgriServ also seeks to collaborate with relevant authorities to empower the agricultural sector, build partnerships with the private sector, and maintain effective communication with clients.

CEO Omar AL-Suhaibani said the strategy focuses on developing agricultural services through national competencies, in line with the goals of the National Agricultural Strategy.

AgriServ is a government entity established by a Cabinet decision as part of the agricultural services transformation program.

The company aims to provide high-quality, sustainable services to support farmers, breeders, and commercial entities, enhancing operational efficiency, quality, and productivity to achieve the sector’s growth objectives.

AgriServ implements services assigned by the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture on a sustainable commercial basis, while the ministry retains its legislative, regulatory, and supervisory roles in the sector.
