King Salman issues royal orders

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz


King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud issued today, Aug. 29, royal orders, including the following:

 

Lieutenant General Fahd Al-Ghafili, Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, was relieved of his post and was appointed as Deputy Chairman of the General Staff.

 

The Saudi King relieved Lieutenant General Fahd Al-Mutair, Commander of the Land Forces, of his post and appointed him as Advisor at the Minister of Defense’s office.

 

First Lieutenant General Mutlaq bin Salem Al-Azima was sent to retirement. He was appointed as Advisor at the Royal Court.

 

Fahad Al-Johani was promoted to Lt. Gen. and was named as new Commander of Land Forces.

 

Mohammed Al-Gharibi was also promoted and named Commander of Saudi Naval Forces.

 

King Salman also promoted Lieutenant General Fahad Al-Salman as Commander of Joint Forces.
