Non-institutional foreign investors increased their ownership in Tadawul-listed equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, from 9.29% to 9.38%, or SAR 322.5 billion, in the week ended Sept. 5, market data showed.
The ownership of non-institutional foreign investors is represented by swap holders, residents and qualified foreign investors (QFIs).
GCC investors' ownership in Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, rose from 2.19% to 2.20% of total market cap, or SAR 75.8 billion, by the end of the week.
Foreign investors’ ownership, including strategic partners, in Saudi equities, excluding Saudi Aramco, increased from 10.71% to 10.81%, or SAR 371.7 billion, for the week.
Meanwhile, institutional foreign investors, excluding Saudi Aramco, accounted for 1.43%, or SAR 49.2 billion, of the total foreign ownership in the Saudi market for the same week.
