E-commerce constitutes 8% of Kingdom's total trade volume: Al-Qasabi

Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi said that the e-commerce sector represents 8% of total trade volume in the Kingdom, expecting revenues to reach SAR 260 billion by 2025, according to Saudi Press Agency.

 

During a meeting held today with businessmen and entrepreneurs in Qassim Chamber, the Minister highlighted that financial technology companies have grown by 95%, as their number rose to more than 170 currently, from ten companies only in 2018.

 

The Kingdom is witnessing a boom across all fields, said the Minister, adding that the chambers of commerce have great ambitions to serve the economic sectors.
