E-commerce accounts for 8% of Saudi Arabia’s total trade volume: Al-Qasabi

Minister of Commerce Majid Al-Qasabi said that the e-commerce sector represents 8% of total trade volume in the Kingdom, expecting revenues to reach SAR 260 billion by 2025, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

 

During a meeting held today, Sept. 9, with entrepreneurs in the Qassim Chamber, the minister highlighted that financial technology (fintech) companies have grown by 95% to more than 170 from 10 in 2018.

 

The Kingdom is witnessing a boom across all fields, Al-Qasabi said, adding that the ministry is ready to serve the economic sectors.
