Yanbu Cement obtains EPD certification for products

Yanbu Cement Co. obtained the Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for its distinguished cement products: Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC), Portland Finishing Cement (PLC), and Sulfate-Resistant Portland (SRC), and Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC).

In a statement to Tadawul today, Sept. 11, the company added that it registered and published the EPD reports of its products through the SCS Global system.

This achievement reaffirms that Yanbu Cement's steady commitment to environmental responsibility, not only during the production stage, but throughout the product’s life cycle.

This stems from the company’s future vision and its awareness of the importance of providing its shareholders, stakeholders, and partners with documented and transparent data about the environmental impact of its products, in a manner that supports the Kingdom’s sustainable construction efforts and in line with global practices in dealing with environmental challenges and investors’ expectations at the local and international levels.
