Tadawul trading screen
Qualified foreign investors (QFIs) were net buyers of SAR 1.62 billion worth of stocks on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) in the week ended Sept. 19, according to recent data issued by Tadawul.
FTSE Russel implemented last week its periodic changes to Saudi market, as part of its semi-annual review of its indices, effective as of Sept. 24, 2024.
Total purchases by QFIs rose by 43% week-on-week to SAR 9.56 billion last week. Their sales also rose by 16% to SAR 7.94 billion.
Saudi mutual funds and high net worth investors were net sellers of shares worth SAR 1.06 million and SAR 448.2 million, respectively.
