The Transport General Authority (TGA) approved amendments to the mechanism for objecting to land transport violations issued against individuals or entities that breach regulations.

The new amendment states that "Any concerned party has the right to object to a violation before the authority within 60 days from the date of notification of the violation. They also have the right to appeal the authority's decision before the administrative court within 60 days of being notified of the decision."

This amendment applies to activities related to bus transport, taxis, car rentals, trucks, vehicle towing, and cargo transportation.

Additionally, the TGA has established a specialized department for reviewing and processing objection requests and making necessary decisions, enhancing transparency, data accuracy, and safeguarding the rights of all beneficiaries, including individuals and companies.

The authority also made it possible to submit objections online through its official website.
