Compared to the same period in 2019, the number of tourists jumped 73%.
The Ministry of Tourism reported that 4.2 million international tourists visited Saudi Arabia for leisure and holidays in the first seven months of 2024, representing a 25% YoY hike, and a surge of 656% compared to the same period in 2019.
Saudi Arabia achieved its target of attracting 100 million tourists in 2023, seven years ahead of schedule.
