Al-Modawat signs 15-year medical complex lease contract

Al-Modawat Specialized Medical Co. signed on Sept. 30 a contract to lease the complex of Al Sultan Saudi Medical Co., Qana province, Asir, with a yearly rent of SAR 220,000, including VAT.

In a statement to Tadawul, the medical services provider said the deal saved construction costs and time as the complex will start operating immediately and generating revenue for the company.

It added that this is the largest private medical complex in the province.

The contract is part of Al-Modawat's expansion plan to cover provinces neighboring Al-Modawat hospitals, following previous investment contracts for medical complexes in Al-Majaridah and Muhayil Asir provinces.

The complexes aim to expand the hospital's client base, maximize revenue, and distribute operating costs across the company's subsidiaries, with the aim of reducing operating expenses and increasing profit margins.

The contract is expected to have a positive impact through increasing patient numbers and improving financial results, Al-Modawat said, noting that there are no related parties involved.
