Saudi Re names Ahmed Al-Jabr as CEO

Saudi Reinsurance Co.’s (Saudi Re) board of directors approved on Sept. 26 the appointment of Ahmed Al-Jabr as CEO, effective Oct. 1, according to a statement to Tadawul.

 

The decision followed the approval from the Insurance Authority (IA) on Sept. 30, the statement added.

Al-Jabr served as Deputy CEO and was appointed as Acting CEO on April 1. He has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance sector and assumed various executive roles prior to joining Saudi Re in 2011.
