Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Al-Ibrahim said the recent global conditions is affecting energy demand, adding that Saudi Arabia will remain the most reliable source of hydrocarbon energy and will soon become a leading country in the field of clean energy.

 

The Kingdom is keen to keep up with developments at the global economic level as it is part of it, and because it has a lot to add, the minister noted during a panel discussion held at Berlin Global Dialogue.

 

He pointed out that Saudi Arabia is working to further integrate into the global economy, by diversifying its economy away from energy and petrochemicals. He also indicated that there is great progress in terms of transformation, which is still ongoing.
