Salama names loss assessor for Jeddah International Market fire

Salama Cooperative Insurance Co. received on Oct. 6 a notice regarding the fire that broke out on Sept. 29 at the Jeddah International Market in Al Rawdah district.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said it appointed a licensed loss adjuster from the Insurance Authority (IA) to assess the damage caused by the fire.

 

The policy is reinsured with reinsurers, in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations, Salama said.

 

The insurer said it will provide updates on developments related to this incident as they become available.
