Jarir Marketing Co. said its cybersecurity team has undertaken a series of cybersecurity protocols and precautionary measures and a specialized cybersecurity firm, registered with the National Cybersecurity Authority, was hired to conduct a comprehensive review of its systems.
Accordingly, it has been determined that “there was neither a direct breach of the company’s databases and servers, nor was there any intrusion from malicious software (Ransomware),” according to a statement to Tadawul today, Oct. 10, denying the recent claims of a data leak of its customer contact details and addresses.

The company affirmed that all its systems remain secure and have not experienced any interruptions. It also reiterated that there is no storage of any payment or financial data of its customers, confirming that the circulated claims on the leakage of such data are invalid.
