Minister of Transport and Logistics Services Saleh Al-Jasser announced the signing of 69 agreements worth more than SAR 17 billion on the first day of the Global Logistics Forum today, Oct. 13, Al Arabiya TV reported.

 

One of the agreements was inked between Saudi Arabia and Egypt on facilitating maritime transport and tourism in the Red Sea and integration for this purpose.

 

Some other deals and memoranda of understanding were also inked for airports and shipping centers, Al-Jasser added.

 

The two-day Global Logistics Forum kicked off today and ends tomorrow, Oct. 14. It is being held at the King Abdullah Financial District and is organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services, under the patronage of King Salman.
