Licenses award ceremony during the Global Logistics Forum


The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) granted four licenses to practice commercial and logistics business in Riyadh Integrated Logistics Zone to international companies in the field of innovative technology, artificial intelligence, logistics services and e-commerce.
 
According to the Saudi Press Agency, the licenses were granted during the Global Logistics Forum 2024, which is organized by the Ministry of Transport and Logistics Services during the period October 12-14 at the King Abdullah Financial District in Riyadh.
 

The Authority handed over a commercial license to "Sapphire", a subsidiary of Alat Company, in partnership with one of the leading companies in the innovative technology and artificial intelligence sector to carry out light manufacturing operations and logistics services.

 

In the manufacturing field, GACA granted a commercial license to Bahri Logistics Services Co. to provide logistics services to Boeing, which are related to aircraft spare parts.

 

It also granted a manufacturing license to Danish company Danfoss to carry out light manufacturing operations.

 

In the field of e-commerce, GACA granted a commercial license to Shein to distribute their products and for the distribution center in the Integrated Logistics Zone to be a regional hub serving the countries of the MENA region.
