Agility, SAR sign MoU to study need for Riyadh freight, logistics infrastructure

Agility signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Saudi Railway Co. (SAR) today, Oct. 13, to explore the requirements for intermodal storage, transportation, and processing facilities in Sudair City for Industry and Businesses, near King Khalid International Airport.

 

Earlier today, Agility Global PLC announced that one of its subsidiaries will launch the final phase of its Agility Logistics Park expansion project in Riyadh at an investment cost of SAR 250 million.

 

The expansion will add 100,000 square meters (sqm) of warehousing space, bringing the gross leasable area to 551,370 sqm. The first phase of the expansion project is expected to begin operations by the end of Q1 2025, according to data available on Argaam.
