Suliman Almazroua, CEO of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), expects investments in the program's sectors to exceed SAR 600 billion by the end of the year.

 

In an interview with Asharq News, Almazroua emphasized the crucial role of the logistics sector in global trade and industry, highlighting that the opportunities currently available far outweigh the challenges posed by geopolitical tensions and global crises.

 

According to data available with Argaam, NIDLP said total non-governmental investments in its sectors exceeded SAR 524 billion by the end of 2023.

 

Launched in 2019, NIDLP aims to make the Kingdom a leading industrial power and a global logistics hub, through four main sectors, energy, mining, industry, and logistics services. Additionally, the program focuses on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the local content to maximize the economic impact.
