The Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) announced today, Oct. 15, that the trade exchange between Saudi Arabia and Egypt reached SAR 48 billion, with Egypt ranking seventh among the Kingdom's largest trading partners.

 

Trade exchange is represented in Saudi exports, which amounted to SAR 28 billion, while imports from Egypt totaled SAR 20 billion, FSC said on its official X account.

 

Saudi exports to Egypt mainly include mineral products, plastics, aluminum, and organic chemicals. On the other hand, imports from Egypt consist of mineral products, fruits, vegetables, metals, and prepared foodstuffs.

 

In terms of investments, Saudi investments in Egypt reached SAR 127 billion via 6,830 companies. On the other hand, Egyptian investments in Saudi Arabia neared SAR 18.7 billion through 805 companies.

 

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman departed for Egypt today to discuss bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
