The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said that Saudi Arabia’s airports received 94 million passengers in the first nine months of 2024, a rise of 15% year-on-year (YoY).
GACA said the number of flights increased by 10% YoY, while the volume of air freight rose by 52% YoY.

According to GACA, King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) reported an increase in passengers to 35.6 million and flights to 216,000, with a growth of 13% and 11%, respectively. King Khalid International Airport came in second place with nearly 27.6 million passengers and 202,400 flights, as shown in the following table:
