The yield on the US 10-year Treasuries rose during trading on Tuesday, recording its highest level in more than three months, as investors weigh in political updates and the future of the US rate policy.

The yield on the two-year note - the most sensitive to changes in monetary policy - settled at 4.141% at 05:52 PM Makkah time.

Meanwhile, the yield on the 10-year note rose by 4 basis points to 4.316%, the highest level since July 9, and the yield on the 30-year note was up by 3 bps to 4.561%.

This comes as investors await the possible results of the US presidential elections, which will be held next week, in addition to a set of key economic data on inflation and the labor market, set to be released this week.
