The Public Investment Fund (PIF) announced on Nov. 13 the completion of an accelerated bookbuild offering to sell the fund’s stake of 2% in stc, according to a statement by Goldman Sachs Saudi Arabia and SNB Capital, joint global coordinators and joint bookrunners.
The offering includes nearly 100 million shares in stc, representing about 2% of the latter’s issued capital, Argaam earlier reported.
A negotiated deal involves a stock purchase based on a bargain between buyers and sellers, apart from the market price. It is conducted under the supervision of Tadawul and relevant capital market laws and regulations.
The negotiated deal does not directly impact the last deal price, highest/lowest stock price, opening/closing price, or market/sector indices.
