Saudi banks reported a 12% rise year-on-year (YoY) in aggregate loans to SAR 2.76 trillion in Q3 2024.

 

Saudi National Bank (SNB) and Al Rajhi Bank accounted for nearly 48% of the sector’s total loans in the third quarter.

 

SNB came on top with a 24.09% share, or SAR 655.3 billion loans in the same period.

 

Al Rajhi Bank came in the second place with a 23.86% share, or SAR 649 billion loans.
