Commerce Minister bans commercial use of national, religious symbols

Minister of Commerce, Majid Al-Kassabi, issued a resolution banning the commercial use of state, religious, and sectarian symbols to ensure they are not misused, Umm Al Qura newspaper reported.

 

The resolution will take effect 90 days from its publication date. Establishments violating the ban will face legal action in accordance with the Regulations of Municipal Violations Penalties from the resolution's effective date.
