David Henry, CEO of Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City (Misk City), said the city’s first phase will officially open in early 2026, with full completion targeted for 2035.
Speaking with Argaam at Cityscape Riyadh, Henry noted that construction commenced roughly five years ago.
He highlighted the city’s long-term investment value at SAR 21.7 billion, with a third already spent. Funding is sourced from the Misk Foundation.
Announced by the Crown Prince in November 2021, the Prince Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City is the world’s first nonprofit city, spanning 3.4 square kilometers, dedicated by the Crown Prince and funded from his personal wealth since the foundation’s inception.
