Saudi endowment funds’ net assets rise to SAR 1B

The General Authority for Awqaf announced that the net assets of the licensed endowment investment funds are valued at approximately SAR 1 billion in 2024, compared to over SAR 500 million a year earlier.

 

The increase came after adding five funds, as asset size increased 29.3% year-on-year (YoY), the authority said in a statement.

 

Five endowment investment funds were licensed in 2024, aligning with the authority’s regulations and guidelines to reach 27 funds. Private endowment funds reached seven to 34.
