King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) plans to build 3,000 housing units, and increase parking spaces to 45,000 by 2028, Al Eqtisadiah reported citing KAFD.

 

Parking spaces will nearly double from the current capacity of 22,000, including 4,000 temporary spaces, it added.

 

Worth mentioning that KAFD currently has 1,000 existing housing units.

 

It will also feature three five-star hotels with a total of 630 rooms, which are nearing completion. Additionally, there are around 60 new tenants in the food and beverage sector and 48 pedestrian suspension bridges.

 

A total of 75 international and local companies have so far established regional headquarters in KAFD, located in Riyadh.

 

According to data available on Argaam, KAFD is one of the largest projects in Riyadh, with an area of 1.6 million square meters.
