The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) granted Transavia France, a French airline, approval to begin operating regular flights for passengers between Saudi Arabia and France.

GACA clarified on its social media platform X account that the two weekly flight service will start operating from Lyon and Paris to Jeddah from Dec. 12.

This step is part of the authority’s ongoing efforts to enhance air connectivity and link the Kingdom to the world, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to transform the country into a global logistics hub.
