The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) launched the third phase of its initiative to digitize contract documentation for the Nationalization of Operations and Maintenance initiative through Qiwa platform.

This service is part of the ministry's digital offerings that are available online.

The decision applies to entities contracted with government bodies or state-owned firms with at least a 51% stake, state-run Saudi Press Agency reported. It covers contracts for operations, maintenance, city cleaning, road maintenance, catering, and IT services. Companies must upload contract data to Qiwa under the initiative.

The program tracks compliance with nationalization targets and supports Saudi workforce participation. It aligns with the ministry's goal to create more jobs for Saudi nationals and enhance market opportunities.

The service was introduced in July 2023. The phase one was launched in December 2023, targeting firms with over 3,000 workers.

The phase two started in June 2024 and applied to companies with 500 to 2,999 employees. These steps aim to boost labor market efficiency.
