Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef said that NEOM Green Hydrogen will meet 10% of global production goals.
In a panel discussion during the Saudi Green Initiative Forum, Alkhorayef pointed out that the ministry supports industrial facilities in transitioning to environmentally friendly technologies through several initiatives, including the Liquid Displacement Program launched this year, aimed at reducing carbon emissions.

Saudi Arabia is currently one of the largest exporters of phosphate used in fertilizers to support agricultural activities and achieve food security, the minister noted.
He also highlighted Saudi Arabia's significant successes in converting raw materials into high-value products, such as transforming bauxite into aluminum products that can be used in advanced industries like aviation and automotive manufacturing.
