Saudi Arabia’s imports from GCC countries declined by 19% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 5.4 billion in September 2024, according to a recent report by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).

 

The UAE accounted for 63%, or SAR 3.4 billion of total Saudi imports, down 20% YoY.

 

Bahrain came second with SAR 923.1 million worth imports, followed by Oman at SAR 741.5 million.
