FTSE Russell plans to implement Saudi Aramco's weight change in single tranche

FTSE Russell plans to adjust Saudi Aramco's weight in its indices from 1.85% to 2.38% in a single tranche, in tandem with the FTSE Global Equity Index Series (GEIS) December 2024 quarterly review.

 

In a statement, FTSE Russell noted that the change will take effect starting Dec. 23.

 

In November, FTSE Russell announced that Saudi Aramco’s weight in the FTSE Russell GEIS will change to 2.38% under the December 2024 periodic review, data compiled by Argaam showed.
