Oil tanks
US crude oil inventories fell during the week ended Dec. 13, marking their fourth consecutive weekly decline.
Data released today, Dec. 18, by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed that commercial crude oil inventories fell by 900,000 barrels last week, compared to expectations of a 1.5-million-barrel drop.
Meanwhile, gasoline inventories increased by 2.3 million barrels, while distillate stocks—including diesel and heating oil—declined by approximately 3.2 million barrels.
