Claim of mandatory health insurance for gov’t employees denied: Report

The circulating claim of mandating health insurance to all government employees were denied, Alkhabir 24 reported, citing sources.

 

The sources explained that the mandate rather applies to parties contracting with government entities.

 

The framework agreement related to health insurance services is limited to affiliates to public entities already offering insurance coverage to its employees only. However, the claim of its general-scale application to all government bodies are inaccurate.
