The Cabinet approved amendments to the regulation of the Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST), as outlined in the decree, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

 

The approval was granted during the Cabinet session held today, Dec. 24, in Riyadh, chaired by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

 

The Cabinet emphasized the remarkable progress made by government entities in measuring digital transformation for 2024, reflecting the Kingdom’s commitment to enhancing services for citizens, residents, and visitors, improving quality of life, streamlining doing business, boosting competitiveness, and advancing in global rankings and indices.

 

Additionally, it praised the recent economic, cultural, and media conferences and events held in Riyadh, which has emerged as an international hub for knowledge, investment, and innovation across various fields, driven by the Kingdom’s comprehensive renaissance on all fronts.
