LIVA reappoints Tariq Al-Naeem as Chairman, Sanjay Kawatra Deputy

LIVA Insurance Co.’s board of directors approved the appointment of Tariq Al-Naeem as Chairman (independent) and Sanjay Kawatra as Vice Chairman.

The decision comes after receiving a non-objection from the Insurance Authority (IA) on Dec. 30, the company said in a statement on Tadawul.

The nominations and remuneration committee comprises Chairman Noor Abid (independent), as well as Tariq Al-Naeem (independent), Martin Roig (non-executive), and Dhafir Awadh Al-Shanfari (non-executive) as members.

The investment committee comprised Chairman Ali Al-Lawati (independent), with Abdullah Alshwer (non-executive), Adal Sarwar (non-executive), and Kamran Mazhar (non-board member) as members.

The executive committee will consist of Chairman Sanjay Kawatra (non-executive), as well as Martin Roig (non-executive), Dhafir Al-Shanfari (non-executive), and Kamran Mazhar (non-board member) as members.

The risk committee was formed with Chairman Munir Al-Mughari (non-executive) and Noor Abid as an independent member.
