City Cement Co. received a notice from Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) on increasing fuel prices as of  Jan. 1.

 

In a statement to Tadawul, the cement producer said the decision will result in higher production costs.

It added that the relevant financial impact will be announced once estimated.

 

The company is also working to reduce the negative financial impact of this price adjustment by committing to achieving the highest possible levels of efficiency and benefiting from other appropriate alternatives.

 

It should be noted that the financial impact of this amendment will appear starting from the financial results for the first quarter of 2025, the statement added.
