Lime Industries, subsidiary get Aramco notice on fuel price rise

Saudi Lime Industries Co. and its subsidiary received an official notice from Saudi Arabian Oil Co. (Saudi Aramco) on an increase in fuel prices used in their business operations, effective as of Jan. 1, according to a Tadawul statement today, Jan. 2.

 

The relevant financial impact is represented in an increase in production costs. This impact is expected to materialize starting from H1 2025.

In 2024, Lime Industries and its subsidiary joined the Industrial Sector Competitiveness Program, which would help curb the related financial impact while improving energy consumption efficiency.

 

The company confirmed that efforts are underway to implement its plans to reduce costs and enhance production and operational efficiency to minimize this impact.
