King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah served more than 49.1 million passengers in 2024, marking 14% growth compared to 2023.
The total number of flights exceeded 278,000 in 2024, an 11% year-on-year (YoY) rise, the airport said on X.
It noted that the busiest operational day was Dec. 31, 2024, with over 174,600 passengers, while December 2024 also saw the highest monthly traffic, exceeding 4.7 million passengers.
Additionally, the airport reported a significant rise in baggage handling, with over 47.1 million bags processed in 2024, marking a 21% increase compared to 2023.
