Saudi Manpower Solutions Co. (SMASCO) announced that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) issued a resolution on Jan. 6, adjusting the required percentage of support workers (domestic workers) for human resources companies.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said that the required percentages will depend on the total number of workers employed by the company and will decrease as the worker number increases, instead of the previous fixed percentage of 30%.

This decision aims to achieve a balance between supply and demand, thereby improving the legislative environment for the support (domestic) workers sector, the statement added.
