Arabian International Healthcare Holding Co. (Tibbiyah) said that CEO Yasser Khattab submitted his resignation on Jan. 7, citing personal reasons.

The resignation is effective immediately, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

Tibbiyah also announced the appointment of a new CEO, Christophe Yvon Lala, effective March 1.

Lala has more than over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. He holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics and informatics from the University of Montpellier, France.

To ensure a smooth transition during the interim period between the resignation of the current CEO and the commencement of the new CEO's tenure, Mohammad Khoudli, a board member and former Tibbiyah CEO, was appointed as Acting Managing Director on Jan. 7. He will temporarily assume the CEO’s responsibilities as of today, Jan. 8.

Khoudli has over 40 years of experience in healthcare, IT consulting, and financial services. He was CEO in Europe, Africa, and Saudi Arabia and led Tibbiyah’s transformation between 2015 and 2019.

He holds a Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the École Centrale de Lyon and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
