Hafr Al-Batin Forum witnesses signing of SAR 17B deals

The Hafr Al-Batin Investment Forum 2025 witnessed today, Jan. 8, the signing of seven agreements worth SAR 17 billion in several target sectors, poised to bolster the future of economic development and investment in Hafr Al-Batin, so as to become an attractive hub for local and international investors, according to state-run SPA.

 

Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province, indicated that today's forum came to shed light on the investment opportunities for the business sector of national and international companies, not only in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate, to achieve optimal benefit from the major competitive advantages that this region includes in its various cities.

 

He added that this forum is one of the effective paths in the efforts to showcase the aspects of investment excellence in Hafr Al-Batin and the incentives for the inflow of foreign capital and opportunities to raise the local component in its investment products.

 

Hafr Al-Batin enjoys competitive investment advantages in various economic activities, making it an ideal destination for investors to invest in and leveraging its promising opportunities, the governor added.

 

He also pointed out that hopes are pinned on the private sector to contribute to supporting development and growth, endeavoring that the forum would help advance the wheel of investment and development in the governorate.

 

The Hafr Al-Batin Investment Forum 2025 witnessed the participation of 24 governmental and civil entities from 12 countries, with four seminars hosted in the participation of 19 speakers.

 

In addition, a comprehensive economic study on Hafr Al-Batin and a number of key economic projects and initiatives being undertaken in a bid to enhance the governorate’s competitiveness were unveiled during the event.
