Oil tanks
US crude oil inventories decreased during the week ended Jan. 3, marking their seventh consecutive weekly decline.
Data released today, Jan. 8, by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) showed that commercial crude oil inventories fell by one million barrels last week, matching Wall Street Journal analysts' expectations.
Meanwhile, gasoline inventories increased by 6.3 million barrels, while distillate stocks—including diesel and heating oil—declined by about 6.1 million barrels.
