The Citizen Account Program started today, Jan. 9, depositing SAR 3.1 billion into the accounts of eligible beneficiaries for the current month.
The total number of eligible beneficiaries under the 86th installment reached 10 million, the program said in a statement, adding that 73% of those eligible received the required support. The average support per family amounted to SAR 1,476.
Since the program launch, the total support granted to beneficiaries reached SAR 229 billion, including SAR 2.6 billion in compensation for retroactive amounts, said Abdullah Al-Hajri, Director General of Communications at the Citizen Account Program.
The number of household beneficiaries in this installment exceeded two million, representing 83% of the total beneficiaries, while the number of dependents reached 7.5 million.
