Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said the Kingdom has a comprehensive range of ongoing and future projects to support local industries.
This includes ensuring competitive gas prices and supplying electricity to factories, along with offering energy-intensive industry tariffs and incentives for the manufacturing sector, the minister said at a panel during the launch of industrial sector benchmark incentives in Riyadh.
He emphasized collaboration with the Ministry of Industry to empower manufacturing with competitive gas supplies.
Key projects include a comprehensive gas sector vision, providing gas and hydrogen for industrial projects, developing the Jafurah field, and connecting industrial cities such as Sudair, Al-Kharj, Jeddah, and Jazan, the minister noted.
He highlighted that some committees at the Ministry of Energy focus on hydrocarbons, energy mix, incentives, localization, and price governance to achieve collective empowerment and desired outcomes.
