18.5M pilgrims performed Hajj and Umrah in 2024: Minister

Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said that the number of Hajj pilgrims and Umrah performers reached 18.5 million in 2024.

Al-Rabiah’s remarks came in his speech at the launch of a new version of the “Nusuk” app that was updated with 100 additional features.

The number of visitors to the Rawdah at the Prophet’s Mosque rose to more than 13 million in 2024, the minister added.

He noted that efforts to enhance competition among Hajj companies have led to an increase in their number to 45, resulting in higher levels of satisfaction among pilgrims with the services provided.
